As a family photographer, I’ve always believed that your images are yours first. I’m honoured to be invited into your lives to capture the people you love most, and I want you to feel 100% comfortable every step of the way – including when it comes to privacy.

 

In today’s world, I understand that privacy is becoming more and more important, especially for families where one or both parents may be in sensitive roles like law enforcement, education, or public-facing careers. Whether you're in one of these positions or simply prefer to keep your family life off the internet, I’m here to respect that.

 

How I Handle Privacy

All of my contracts include a standard model release, which gives me permission to share your images on my website, social media, and other promotional materials. Sharing this work is how I grow my business, and I’m so grateful when families trust me enough to showcase their stories – it truly means the world.

 

That said, your privacy always comes first, and I offer a few options so you can choose what’s right for you:

 

Zero Share Policy

If you prefer that your images are kept entirely private, I’m more than happy to honour that. Your online gallery will be secured with a password, and none of your images will be posted anywhere.

 

Selective Sharing

Some families prefer to have a few images shared, but without showing their children’s faces. During our session, I can take specific shots with your little ones’ backs turned or faces away, so you can still have beautiful family photos to share or for me to use with your permission.

 

Full Sharing with Flexibility

If you’re comfortable with me sharing your session publicly, thank you! I’ll always use your images with care and respect. And if at any time you change your mind, just let me know – I’ll take them down right away, no questions asked.

 

There’s no extra cost for privacy. Whatever level of sharing you choose, it’s all about what makes you feel best.

 

A Quick Note About AI

I never share your personal images for AI training, ever. However, I do use Adobe software to edit, and Adobe may anonymously source data from edited images as part of its general service. If you ever want more details on this, feel free to reach out – I’m happy to chat through it.
